Smarter decisions through data for highways and environmental services
Tuesday 13 October 10.30-15.00, Village Hotel Cardiff, CF14 7EF
FREE for APSE member councils
Highways and environmental services are among the most visible functions delivered by local government, with residents rightly expecting clean streets, safe roads and well-maintained public spaces. Faced with increasing demand and ongoing financial pressures, councils are increasingly using data insights, digital technology, and resident opinions to target resources effectively and improve service outcomes.
This APSE Wales event will showcase practical examples from Welsh local authorities that are driving improvement across highways and environmental services. Through a series of case studies and an interactive performance workshop, delegates will explore how data and benchmarking can support better decision-making and help create cleaner and safer communities.
