Founded in 1903, Nathans Wastesavers is a pioneering force in the UK’s circular economy, transforming textile waste into global resources while championing environmental stewardship. As one of the nation’s largest textile recyclers, we divert over 500 tonnes of textiles weekly  from landfills—equivalent to saving billions of litres of water and reducing carbon emissions linked to fast fashion. Our dedicated team of over 250 skilled workers ensures materials are meticulously sorted, graded, and repurposed, extending the lifecycle of garments and supporting sustainable consumption worldwide. By exporting recycled textiles to Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, we empower global reuse economies and reduce reliance on resource-intensive new production. 

Collaborating with charities, local authorities, and waste partners, we drive community-centric solutions to textile waste, while our integration into Textile Recycling International (TRI)  since 2018 amplifies our impact—processing over 400 million garments annually to conserve raw materials and curb textile pollution. Every garment rescued embodies our dual commitment: protecting UK jobs through green innovation and safeguarding the planet by closing the loop on waste.
