Announcing the winners of the APSE Striving for Excellence Awards 2025

APSE is delighted to announce the winners of the APSE Striving for Excellence Awards 2025!

The APSE Striving for Excellence Awards - kindly sponsored by Bucher Municipal and Econ Engineering Ltd - celebrate the excellent work authorities are currently involved in within waste and recycling, parks, grounds and street scene and fleet services. Winners were selected by an independent judging panel. 

Speaking about the awards, APSE Chief Executive, Mo Baines, said, "The Striving for Excellence Awards recognise the fantastic work and achievements of local authorities in Scotland; providing a much-deserved opportunity for those within the service areas to put forward their excellent initiatives. Congratulations to all our award winners and finalists - you are a credit to your communities."

The winners were announced at a charity dinner, in aid of Parkinson's UK - raising over £2000 - on Thursday 22 May 2025 as part of the APSE Scotland Fleet, Waste and Grounds Seminar at the Aviemore Highland Resort.
