APSE Scotland is once again pleased to announce we will be hosting our Striving for Excellence awards at this year’s Scottish Fleet, Waste and Grounds services seminar.
These awards will recognise the hard work and success of local authority services in Scotland and provide an excellent opportunity for those within the related service areas to put forward their most deserving initiative which demonstrates innovative ideas and solutions to tackle the current challenges facing our services.
These awards are to recognise the excellent work which local authorities are currently involved in within their services. Enter these awards to help drive the improvement of service delivery and performance, position your authority as a leader in innovation and earn recognition from your peers by putting your project’s achievements in the spotlight. Entries can be submitted for the following categories:
Entries will be assessed on a submission basis by an independent judging panel with all Scottish authorities able to submit. The local authorities who are finalists receive publicity, both national and locally with the winners being announced at the seminar’s annual dinner on Thursday 21 May 2026. All successful submissions in these awards will receive a free place at the APSE Scotland Fleet, Waste and Grounds services seminar for the full event and accommodation for three nights.
If you wish to put forward an initiative for these awards you need to take two simple steps:-
1. Complete the attached notification form and return this by email to [email protected] no later than 17 March 2026.
2. Once this is received we will send you an electronic submission template to enable you to make your submission no later than 27 March 2026 (the submission is to be no more than 3 pages of A4 excluding the contacts page).
And remember unlike other awards there is no fee to enter the APSE Scotland Striving for Excellence awards.
