APSE Summer Series: Housing and Building Webinars: Homelessness, housing stock and strategies for tomorrow
As the UK works toward the ambition of building 1.5 million new homes, local authorities remain at the heart of creating places that are sustainable, resilient, and genuinely fit for the future. Councils are also grappling with rising homelessness and increasing reliance on temporary accommodation—pressures that demand new ideas, practical solutions, and collective action.
That is why this Summer Series is so important. Over three seminars, there will be presentations from leading experts and practitioners who are pioneering effective approaches on the ground. There will be the exploration of the changing landscape of social housing, the implications of evolving government policy, and the continuing drive to improve safety, quality, and the tenant voice.
