Carbon Literacy Action Day

APSE is delighted to be taking part in the third annual Carbon Literacy Action Day, in partnership with the Carbon Literacy Project.

To coincide with the UN COP28 Climate Negotiations, on 4 December 2023, we will be running FOUR certified Carbon Literacy courses to support local government in our collective journey to net zero.

Be part of the conversation to tackle the climate crisis by joining colleagues from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Places are strictly limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Which course should you join?

• Carbon Literacy for Local Authorities – anyone working in local government,
• Carbon Literacy for Leaders and Managers – senior leaders with strategic and/or budgetary responsibility.
• Carbon Literacy for Elected Members – whether in power or opposition, this is a cross party issue. Suitable for cabinet or committee members and Councillors with ward responsibilities.
• Carbon Literacy for Towns and Parish Councils - **New Course!** designed for officers, volunteers and Councillors.
