As the Waste & Recycling Manager at Denbighshire County Council, you will be responsible for the service that residents most closely associate with the council. As such, you will have the opportunity to shape a service that impacts on every household in Denbighshire. You will also have a vital role to play in terms of protecting and improving the reputation of the council.
We are looking for an excellent leader with strong management skills. Although previous experience of managing waste services would be advantageous, it is not a pre-requisite of appointment. It is more important to attract the right person with the right skills for this post, and we therefore feel that experience of managing waste services could be developed within the role. If you are proven leader, with the ability to develop and deliver a dynamic vision for this important front-line service, then this could be the opportunity for you.
