We will increase the amount of money returned to the public purse through the sale of used vehicles and plant. We can do this by offering a brokered direct sales service and no fees to the buyer, both of which will drive the sale price up and therefore increase what is returned to the authority. On average these increases are 25-30% more than the traditional methods of disposal, such as auction or trade buyers.
