  • Major Contracts Review of Private sector Contracts for  an authority whilst leading Procurement function and delivering 15% cashable savings in a 5 month timeframe Interim management/change manager role for a County Council creating and implementing transformational change, delivering efficiencies/streamlining, development of arm’s length trading company/Local Authority Trading Company (LATC) options and contract options review.
  • Achieved significant cashable efficiency savings whilst in post in excess of the directorate targets and provided further opportunities for delivering streamlining with the support of the trade unions. In addition realised further efficiencies through capacity building and eliminating waste through business process reviews and driving efficiency, end to end service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Advising managers on targeting improvement including development of individual and cross-cutting service improvement plans for a wide range of services.
  • Consultancy projects including advising on how to progress partnering and arm’s length trading opportunities, including financial reviews achieving in excess of 35% savings and opportunities in relation to future service delivery.
  • Business Case review and deconstruction, review of OJEU processes and transformation projects, including Shared and Shire Services.
