Announcing the finalists of the Highways, Street Lighting and Winter Maintenance Innovation Awards 2018.
These prestigious awards are designed to celebrate outstanding local councils that use pioneering ideas and solutions to tackle the current challenges facing their highways, winter maintenance and street lighting services.
All of the finalists were required to present best practice case studies in their respective categories, which showed them all to be frontrunners in implementing innovative ideas that support continuous improvement and adaptation.
Rob Bailey, APSE Principal Advisor for Highways, was delighted to see such a high calibre of entries this year. He said, “Despite the serious issues local government faces at this time, it is wonderful to see such exciting projects being carried out by so many dedicated people. These finalists are a credit to their councils and their communities.”
The winners of each category will be announced at the APSE Highways, Street Lighting and Winter Maintenance Seminar in in Blackpool on Thursday 22 March. Click here for information on how to book your place at the seminar.
