The devolutionary agenda is taking shape, offering the potential of more powers for local areas and providing opportunities for collaborative working. This seminar will therefore explore the policy context of devolution; the challenges and opportunities for local authority front line services; and the role of the voluntary sector in devolution.
In addition and unique to APSE we will explore the role and opportunities for local government frontline services in the newly devolved areas. We will explore how local government frontline services can shape the way services are commissioned and delivered to support better outcomes in areas such as parks and street scene.
