APSE training

APSE training is the training arm with the specific aims of:

  • Offering a continuous programme of training and development opportunities for all levels of staff
  • Providing courses that are developed, designed and delivered to meet the needs of public sector services
  • Working with a range of professional partners to ensure our programme reflects new legal requirements and emerging public policy issues
  • Maintaining a professional quality service in identifying needs, pre course scoping with clients, delivery and post course evaluation
  • Using trainers that have the relevant skills and experience to ensure the highest standards are achieved
  • Ensuring that members receive the best advice on a range of national and local training and development initiatives
  • Delivering learning and development that makes both a long term difference and immediate impact on learners and their member organisations
  • Giving opportunities for members for internal certification of their learning, and awareness of routes to nationally recognised qualifications and continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Providing low cost value for money training
