Bespoke training packages are delivered:

  • on a mutually agreed date
  • at a cost effective rate
  • at start and finish times to suit your staff working patterns
  • for a cohort of up to 20 people per session

What does APSE provide?

If you would like APSE to deliver an in-house course for your authority, the costs below include:

  • pre-course scoping and training needs assessment
  • bespoke changes made to the content
  • all preparation and administration with register and nameplates
  • course delivery from APSE Training with APSE Energy
  • PowerPoint presentation brought on trainers’ own laptop
  • provision of delegate training packs
  • handouts and course materials
  • delegate certificates
  • post course support documents
  • feedback analysis and evaluation report

This is a training package of approximately 3-4 days’ work.

What do you provide?

To hold the course in-house you would need to provide:

  • a suitable training room with capacity for 23 people (20 delegates and up to 3 trainers)
  • projector and screen facilities, suitable for HDMI or VGA
  • cabaret or “U” style layout with tables and chairs, and a top table for the trainer
  • refreshments… and lunch, if possible (people learn more when they are fed)

Fees

APSE members receive a discounted rate (please see below for details).

If you are not a member of APSE, you can still access this training as an in-house course.

Some authorities prefer to share the costs with neighbouring authorities and APSE would be happy to help you with this arrangement.

This will include travel and might include subsistence and overnight stay if required.

We are good at keeping costs down. These costs will vary depending on the location of the training, time of year and booking lead-in time.

Bookings

Booking an in-house course is simple. Just contact the team at APSE to get the ball rolling.

We will arrange a suitable training date with you and also arrange pre-course consultation to make sure the course is bespoke and tailored to your needs.

There’s a straight forward booking form to complete so you can confirm when and where the training will be taking place.

Once you have booked your training, we will ask you to send us a list of delegates and we will take the time to discuss any final details with you.
