Why should local authority staff take part in Carbon Literacy training?
To create a low carbon culture we need to foster citizens who understand the scale of the problem and feel empowered to take action on climate change as well as support and accept climate mitigation policies.
Our local authority staff are our greatest asset. This training will equip them with an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.
