Given the current situation with COVID 19 a number of representations have been made to APSE regarding our events; this includes a number of councils and exhibitor organisations which have debarred staff from external meetings and events. Having regard for the well-being of our delegates, apprentice finalists, exhibitors, venue and hotel staff and APSE’s own staff we have considered all factors and a number of external events have now been postponed.
All existing bookings have been transferred to the rescheduled events with dates to be confirmed as soon as advice from Government(s) and Public Health Agencies allow this to be done. Therefore you do not need to do anything further at this juncture as your place at the event is still secure.
We are confident that when normality returns both our member council delegates and our valued local government suppliers will want to re-connect with each other and, as we as APSE have already encouraged, ensure that we can once again begin to support both the local and national economy to recover. We can only do this by continuing to support each other including recommencing as soon as possible our activities within the sector, which is vital to both suppliers and businesses but also to the on-going services provided by our member councils which support local communities.
