South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils are seeking an experienced team leader to join our Waste Services team and be part of a committed team focusing on delivering a high-quality waste collection, recycling and street cleansing service to it residents. 

The successful candidate must have a degree in an appropriate discipline, with a proven track record of success in ensuring this dynamic service will continue to be effectively delivered in partnership with its waste collection contractor Biffa Municipal Ltd. 

A high performing individual, you will have strong all-round communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships within the organisation and its external partners. Organised with excellent operational planning skills, reliability and calmness under pressure are pre-requisites of this postholder.
