South Staffordshire is a place where people choose to live because of its attractive villages, countryside and open spaces.

As a Council we have every reason to be confident in our success.

  • Our recent LGA Peer Review reported that the leadership of the Council was “very impressive” with “strong evidence of ambition and innovation” and that the Council “was in a strong position to meet future challenges”,
  • Our Council Offices will shortly be undergoing modernisation and refurbishment to provide a real community hub with partner organisations, local businesses, library, doctors surgery and cafe all in one central location; and
  • Our Community Services has a strong track record of commercial success and high-quality delivery across all our services which consist of Leisure, Facilities, Street Scene, Environmental Health, Waste and Recycling.

You will have a relevant degree/professional qualification and possess excellent leadership and engagement skills.  You will need to have strong project management and organisation skills along with previous experience of managing large teams, contracts and budgets.
Why work for South Staffordshire Council?
