Bookings are now being taken for the APSE annual seminar and service awards. The seminar programme hosts a range of plenary and symposium sessions including:

  • An international plenary session looking at local government in a global context
  • A key note policy session outlining the big issues that will impact on frontline services
  • A service delivery symposium session exploring what models of delivery work in a frontline context
  • A green economy symposium looking at waste to energy and renewable energy schemes
  • A neighbourhoods plenary session including housing, the local environment, employment and public health
  • Performance management and benchmarking for frontline services
The seminar will also host innovation zones for
  • Local environment services
  • Highways and street lighting services
  • Soft FM services
  • Sport, leisure and public health services
  • Building maintenance and housing services
APSE national council has once again agreed to freeze the price of this seminar making a full two day programme available at just £365 for APSE member bookings made before the 20 July 2012. A range of accommodation packages have also been negotiated to ensure the seminar remains an affordable learning and working seminar event and this includes the APSE annual awards which will be held on Thursday 13 September.
