Team

APSE maintains an in-house dedicated team to place interim managers and support them through the assignment. APSE has a full time client coordination officer, who works to place interims in local authorities. During placements we will communicate with the client contact once a month to check that the local authority is receiving the best service from APSE.

More about the APSE team

APSE has around 300 interim managers who are experienced local government practitioners. All interim managers are fully vetted before working for us, and APSE follows strict quality procedures for monitoring during and after a project.

APSE interim managers work in accordance with APSE key aims and sign up to APSE as an associate through the associate agreement. Approved associates maintain a reciprocal relationship with the APSE secretariat and are placed on the circulation list for any relevant briefing papers, technical up-dates, news articles etc. as identified and collated by APSE staff. APSE provides reasonable access to any research material relevant to project work being undertaken by Associates on behalf of the consultancy. Associates are included in Training/Development opportunities as well as invited to the annual Associate Workshop to discuss policy/development issues, updates on work in progress and future opportunities. There is a standing invitation to advisory groups or other relevant meetings.
