This associate has been a consultant with the Association of Public Sector Excellence (APSE) for over seven years and combines hands on operational experience with specialist HR expertise to achieve sustainable change in high profile services. This associate is a Chartered Manager, FCMI and FCIPD. Their knowledge and experience together with a practical approach enables her to work in all sectors and her collaborative approach means she engages with stakeholders in managing the cultural and people aspects of change in a positive way to achieve improved outcomes.
Their work with Local Authorities is commissioned through specific projects, public contracts and service review. She has worked with Corporate Services; Corporate Change; a variety of frontline services and as a critical friend. She ensures that strategic and operational planning is focused on delivering continuous improvement for the customer, creates the environment where people can perform at their best and uses lean processes, robust systems and meaningful measurement to reduce costs.
This associate is committed to supporting organisations to delivering the necessary changes in culture needed to deliver new ways of working and improved outcomes. As an Associate member of APSE they have been involved in delivering Performance Networks and in designing and delivering training courses on Handling Difficult Conversations with Staff and Customers. These development programme support Local Authorities managers to improve their skills in managing performance.
