A Warm Welsh Welcome Awaits

A Warm Welsh Welcome Awaits

A warm Welsh welcome awaits the finalist councils in this year’s APSE award for Overall Council of the Year in Service Delivery 2015.

From 39 eligible councils judges have now arrived at a finalists list of just eight councils who will find out if they are the winning council at Brangwyn Hall, Swansea on Thursday 3 September 2015. The winner will be announced by Welsh presenter and meteorologist Sian Lloyd.

Commenting on the finalists APSE’s Chief Executive Paul O’Brien said “We are delighted to be taking our APSE Service Awards 2015 to the glorious setting of Swansea where we know a warm Welsh welcome awaits our finalist councils in our prestigious and unique award for the Overall Council of the Year in Service Delivery.

This award doesn’t just recognise one service or the corporate centre but reflects a culture of excellence and innovation across many frontline services and local initiatives. Judges had a very tough time in deciding on our finalist councils but I am confident that they are all very deserving of their place on the list”.
