Arcus Global

Arcus Global was established in 2009 to assist the public sector to save costs and deliver transformational change via Cloud based solutions.  

We use the most modern technology in a disruptive way that makes it accessible to the public sector. Our clients include local authorities, national government departments as well as universities, the NHS and the private sector.  Arcus is a growing business.  We have increased our market strength by developing more of our own applications and by investing heavily in R&D.

We write innovative software for key public services including built environment (planning and building control) licensing and social care.  Our technology is designed to work seamlessly across mobile and desktop; to be where our customers and end-users need us.

At Arcus we use Agile Methodology and collaborate closely with clients from understanding their initial requirements through to the end product. This helps us learn and anticipate potential challenges before they arise. Our collaborative approach builds an atmosphere of trust and openness which helps us to meet clients’ needs quickly and effectively.

At Arcus we have a sophisticated understanding of the drivers of the public sector, many of our staff have come to us via a background in the sector.  Arcus is a leading figure in the debate around digital transformation in the public sector.

In June 2016 we became the first UK based AWS Government Competency Partner. This Competency is only awarded to those organisations within the AWS Partner Network (APN) that have demonstrated first class technical proficiency, a deep understanding of the challenges and issues being faced by the public sector.  To achieve we demonstrated a track record of proven, demonstrable success in delivering solutions for government and public sector organisations that deliver great outcomes.  This is an outstanding achievement for a company of our size.

Arcus is the largest SME provider to UK Local Government by sales volume, and one of the most successful SMEs on the G-Cloud framework overall.

Our clients include local authorities who are leaders in digital transformation including Aylesbury Vale District Council, Peterborough City Council and Eastleigh Borough Council.

APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) is a not for profit local government body working with over 300 councils throughout the UK. Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
