Location: City of London Cemetery, London, E12 5DQ

Salary: £31,070 - £35,480

The City of London Corporation, Open Spaces Department protects, funds and manages over 10,700 acres of historic and natural open space primarily for public recreation and health for the City of London Corporation which includes the ownership and management of the City of London Cemetery & Crematorium.

The City of London Corporation currently have a vacancy for a Crematorium & Information Manager based at the City of London Cemetery & Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, London E12 5DQ.  This is a 35 hour per week post, working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.00am – 6.30 pm. You will also be required to work weekends to cover cremation services when required.

The successful applicant will be required to manage and develop all aspects of the crematorium, information & security teams, and the associated buildings.

To succeed in this role you should have excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering first class customer service. The ability to lead a team, good interpersonal skills and an operational understanding of cremators and ancillary equipment, are essential requirements for this post.

This is an operational management position and the post-holder will be required to undertake the duties of a Crematorium Officer and Information and Security Officer as required, ensuring the completion of essential and urgent duties as necessary.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
