APSE Energy is holding a workshop focussing on district heating and related issues in Irvine, North Ayrshire.

Our intention is to ensure APSE Energy members are as aware of latest developments as possible. We will looking at the policy context and how it has emerged; how policy is built into the holistic approach at the host local authority North Ayrshire Council; the benefits to be gained from investing in heat; the lessons learnt from other projects and; understanding the practicalities of a scheme. We will look at some examples of work under way in North Ayrshire and hear some of their achievements and difficulties.

This is an opportunity for generalists and specialists to hear from industry experts and experienced practitioners. There will be opportunities to ask questions, discuss issues, talk about schemes from other local authorities and contribute to the debate.

This workshop will commence at 12:30 pm following lunch at noon.

Cancellation and refund policy

Reservation is a contract. Substitution of delegates is acceptable any time in writing by email to aholcroft@apse.org.uk or fax to 0161 772 1811. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 10 working days before the event and will incur a 20% administration fee. No refunds can be given for cancellations received less than 10 working days before the event or for non-attendance. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the organisers, liability will be restricted to the refund of fees paid. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme, speakers or venue should this become necessary.
