Membership


APSE is a not for profit membership based organisation and is made up of local authorities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, police, fire and civil defence authorities and associate members from local government trade unions, registered social landlords and leisure trusts. ALMOS and leisure trusts can also be members via the parent local authority subject to APSE membership conditions.

APSE also provides services such as performance networks, APSE Solutions and lifelong learning and development including training course and master classes.

Promoting excellence in public services

APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) is a not for profit local government body working with over 300 councils throughout the UK. Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
